District Partnerships Booklet
With data being one of the company’s most useful assets, the sales team requested a cohesive packet containing all the useful data across multiple district partners. I was assigned to design this packet, utilizing the company’s branding at the time and displaying all the necessary data. Given the amount of content, this was going to be a dense project. The most crucial early step was to create a clean and legible layout with room to contain all the copy and prominently display the data. The sales team was very happy with how the project came out. It became a staple of their materials at the time as it showed exactly what the prospective customers were looking for in terms of data and results.
Where is My Cat
The publishing team at American Reading Company, ARC Press, expressed interest in company-wide assistance with creating more books for young readers focused on dogs and cats. Being interested in book design and a cat lover myself, I jumped at the opportunity. I conceptualized the idea of the cat being in funny situations following the pattern of “My cat went to the ___.” I gathered licensed stock images and manipulated them in Photoshop to show the cat in these scenarios, taking extra care to ensure it looked like the same cat in each image.
Ballinger Exhibit Design
During my time at Ballinger, I worked on several large-scale print projects for trade shows. This was a gallery poster for the European Healthcare Design Conference.
Ballinger Trade Show Booth (Mockup)
A full-scale mockup of a trade show booth design. The challenge of these projects was to work at such a large scale, ensuring the font was legible and the images were high quality enough for the project.
FXI Showroom
FXI, a manufacturing company that makes foams for mattresses required assistance in setting up their on-site showroom. I designed the banner and wall displays and provided assistance with the interior design process. I searched for the highest-quality images I could find to portray each category of product and created the banners to match the company’s preexisting internal branding. The showroom was successful in the goal of displaying the various ways the products are utilized. I appreciated the opportunity to work on something unique to my experience and try out interior design.
VividLux Templates
I was approached by VividLux, a marketing company still in its conceptual stage, with the goal of specializing in selling expertly designed templates tailored to various industries. I was hired to design the proof of concept for the company, a batch of 10 templates for the real estate industry.
I created 10 unique layouts, paying close attention to how each layout stood out individually but still fit together as a whole collection. I focused on clean, eye-catching design and the best way to show off both the property and the information.

Baldwin Publishing Newsletter
Baldwin Publishing, a leading healthcare industry publishing company, puts out a newsletter in four different languages: English, Chinese (Traditional), Russian, and Spanish. I took special care in the design to make it look good but also leave plenty of additional space for the flexibility of typesetting languages that may have more or less letters than English. The layout worked in all four languages and the additional languages were easy to set up in very little time.
